DIY sattelite dish fine tuning. (SOLVED--Thanks)

I did a search and couldn't find it but someone added some fine tuning adjustments to their dish.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    OK, but I'm looking for the Added DIY fine tuning screws to make the elevation and Azimuth easier to tune.
    Someone on here figured out a way with adjustment bolts and knobs.
    It seems that Doc or Wizzard was part of th guys screen name.
    I use a signal meter but it is aggravating to adjust for me.

  • I do recall someone posting their homemade dish mod, but I didn't find it with a couple of search tries. Here's a photo of that shows the OEM elevation fine tuning setup on our Dish 1000.4 dish that I moded with wing nuts for a no tools adjustment. It may give you some ideas for moding your dish. The 1000.4 also has a fine tuning nut/cam for the azimuth adjustment, although I rarely need to use it.

  • If you have a smart phone dish pointer pro is a good starting point.
    From there I have an align a site.
