Do you pay for winterizing?

Yes with air you must go to each spot and open the valve/faucet (just as you do with pink), starting with the water heater (good time to replace the anode). No different than blowing air through the sprinklers...lol, could you imagine using pink for sprinklers?

If you want to use pink, please continue; just some of us are able to get the job using air (at no additional cost and no difference in the time to get er done).

I pay whatever it costs for two gallons of pink on sale. ;)

When using only air, make sure you open your toilet valve. How do we know? We've forgotten a couple of times and once we were lucky, so now we use the pink stuff to ensure it's all out. Same with the spray head at the kitchen sink!

I don't trust the air alone. Too many dips and bends in the lines where the water could settle into. We regularly get below zero so I use the pink stuff.

Glad I live in the South. Even if it did get that cold here I would put heat in the house and all my water things are in the same basement compartment so heat it also. This has always worked.

Same here, we do it ourselves. Even with me helping hubby, it takes us about 20 minutes, but still. Once you learn how to do it, you'll end up doing it yourself.

It's so easy to do I can't imagine paying someone to do it.
I'm not as good as Jax, it takes me twice as long.. ;)

I winterize my 2 rigs probably a dozen times a year, I have a couple of air compressors and a the 5 minutes it takes to do it.

Even if someone came to my place to do it, instead of the inconvenience of going somewhere I still wouldn’t have them do it.
