Thanks for the info. They'll never receive my business again. On my next rig I hope to have a battery style refrigerator like they put on sailboats installed. That's just terrible service as far as I'm concerned.
Buy a New Ford, then call them and tell them to send you the warranty part instead of you taking it to the dealer. I just don't understand People with your attitude. Things break. So what if it was a month. What time frame do you think a part has to fail? I have been in the RV service business for over 40 years and the policies for getting warranty work done has not changed. What makes YOU think you have diagnosed the problem correctly? We have helped you, but from your recent comments, you still have no clue even tho I have told you what is wrong. You install that battery style which may be a Novacool. Guess what, they have the same requirements as Dometic and YES, the battery styles do malfunction also. I work on those also. Doug
Of course since Doug Rainer works on them and is the absolute when it comes to all things RV. But then again since I have personally had Dometic ship me a control board and a white replacement led module to replace the blue a little over a year ago under warranty, I guess it never happens. I have also had Dutchmen RV in the past send parts gratis, Palomino, as well as Rockwood RV who sent warranty parts even after the warranty had expired. I also had boards sent gratis from Suburban more than once, and even got some stuff from Lippert, but that was a long time ago, now days good luck with LCI if you can get past the temp girl working the phone. The one who clamped down totally was Dutchmen after their warranty support was rolled into Keystone.
Phone calls are cheap and sometimes you'll be surprised what will happen if you get in contact with the right person. Sounds like Doug needs to protect his job or something.

Sure hasn't.....Make an appointment which may be a month or more away. Drop it off. Hopefully it gets looked at that same day and the pictures and other documentation is sent to the manufacturer. Wait more, days or weeks for the manufacturer to approve it. Then they order the parts, and hope they do not take 6 weeks to arrive......Meanwhile 2 or 3 months have passed. Just like the Auto Industry LOL.
