In a slide out, remove the upper side door. Even tho the 12cu has the rear fans, you need a 3rd fan that blows the hot air OUT the upper door. You cannot trust the convection air and the other 2 fans to get the air out completely. Also, in a slide room, there should be a wood/metal plenum above the condenser coils to direct the air OUT that door. A lot of OEM's do not adequately do that. That is a OEM install problem and not Dometic's problem. Dometic WILL authorize an additional fan under Dometic's warranty. Doug
