Dometic 12 cu. ft fridge operating temperatures

I have a dometic 12 cu ft fridge and am having trouble maintaining the fresh food area temperature. Had unit plugged in at home for 2 days before we left for our trip and the temp was 34 turned unit ...

What is the freezer temperature? If it's not below 10F then that needs to be resolved first.

Do you really have to go to your dealer for service? Chances are they will have a Dometic person fix it anyway.

If you do go to the dealer then have a firm understanding of the time and priority involved with the repair as you should expect that it will take days... What happens if it doesn't fail for them? It's not a given that it will fail when they try it.
