    Definitely a problem on the 12 V side. It occurs to me the car battery does not share a ground reference with the trailer. I don't know if this could affect it. 

    Some of these old convertors require a good battery for filtration. I would start with a new house battery and work from there.

Hooked up a new battery and figured out the issue with the converter, fridge is back up and running. Thanks for your help!

    Great to hear it is just that simple. We will deal with 2-way fridge in the incoming Salem Trailer project once we're done with the mods on the Silverado. The tires, moto metal wheels, and rotors showed up. We're gonna start with a new battery for the Salem.
