Dometic DM2652RBX - Won't run on electric or gas

Check light is on. Need help on what to check including fuses. Not sure what type or what to look for. Pictures would help. Also, is there a reset?

Thank you!

Have you actually tested the outlet? The only reason the check light should be on is due to not igniting on LP- it has nothing to do with the electric side.

There is a 5 amp glass (AGC) fuse on the circuit board on the back of the refrigerator- there is also a 3 amp AGC, but it is for the 12 volt control. The 5 amp is for the 120 vac.
  • We had a power outage and the refrigerator is the only thing that will not work after power was restored.
  • Yup, you need 12 VDC for it to run on either propane or 120 VAC.

Check for voltage at the back of the refrigerator/accessed through the outside refrigerator access door.
  • Make sure the refrigerator outlet has power- check the GFCI(s). Make sure the 12 volt power is good.
  • check your cooktop stove and see if it still ignites and has propane. It may be something as simple as out of propane, the tank ran empty, and you need to switch the propane tank to the other full tank, and refill the empty tank.

If the propane tank is empty and you switch tanks, turn your refrigerator off, then back on, to reset and retry starting the fridge again.
