If you have a clog on these toilets, I am amazed that a plunger would work at all. The usual cause of a plug is the Impellor area gets jammed and no amount of plunging would free that up. When you plunge this type toilet, that pressure is forced somewhere and the anti siphon is the logical place for that water to shoot out. Otherwise, the various hose clamps would not hold and then then pressure would force the sewage out behind the toilet. Plunging a Dometic Macerator toilet is not the best way to fix a clog. Doug
