Dometic Penguin relocating freeze sensor?
My Penguin will freeze up to about 20% airflow before the freeze sensor does it's thing and cuts compressor.
Sensor appears to be installed in the wrong location- On the passenger side of the evap coil. According to dougrainer and Dometic installation manual, this sensor should be on the driver side on the Penguin model. This sensor has a white lead and AC unit is vintage approx 2011. It has remote 12 button thermostat but it is non ducted system.
My question is regarding moving this sensor. Is there anything I need to look out for? Is any tugging on the wire OK or do I need to completely free the sensor from the fins before extracting it? The sensor is probably perfectly OK, just the location is wrong.
