It does sound like the motor has bit the dust. The clicking you're hearing is probably coming from the motor itself, trying to turn. Hook up a 12V battery directly to the motor and see if it works then. If not, it's time for a new motor. I just bought a new one off Ebay for $145 shipped. Most RV places are easily double that price. And it works a treat.
If you change it yourself, which isn't that big of a deal, make sure you secure the support arms so they don't spring back when the motor is removed. It can cause you some serious injury if you're not careful.
Thanks, I will look around more on Ebay. So far I am seeing 275 - 399. The one I looked at on Ebay said if you do it yourself it voids warranty....
I did find a manual on-line that talked about how to secure the arms. Good thing to note.
