Dometic Propane Stove Problem

I have a Dometic EK 2000 propane stove in my 2007 Roadtrek RS. The left burner works fine, the right burner produces far too much flame, with a yellow color. No luck getting tech assistance from Dometric. Assistance in identifying the problem/solution would be appreciated.

Thanks, John
  • From online pics, I couldn't tell if it is a two piece burner with a cap? If so, lift the cap off the right one an putmit back on.

If the cap is out of place, these kinds of burners will do justmwhat you mention.
  • Rather than a clogged orifice, it may be blockage in the delivery tube. Some stoves have adjustable air mixture, also. I have seen the set screws loosen on these and the flame will then be yellow.
  • Does it look like "C" in the picture below?

If so: sounds like low air- try cleaning burner orifice. Especially if this is a burner that you don't use much, there may be spiderwebs or something in there.
