Just got off the phone with Greg Sergeant (sp) tel (574) 294-2511 of Dometic regarding the recall. I explained to him that I lived in Alaska and was planning to drive down to Baja in early February and that I would like to know if my local RV Service center could fix this at my expense then Dometic would reimburse me later. The answer was a big NO. I would have to wait as everyone else. And that I would have to follow their instructions. No help, no maybe, no nothing. I agree this is a large corporation and they for the most part don’t really care about someone with a truck slide in camper but if enough of us called and just raised hell with them maybe they would. Their timing is bad as the camping season starts in April.
