Well, if it's not leaking, you are either extremely fortunate or Dometic has re-evaluated it's procedure. As there are approx 926,000 units within the mod/ser number range AND if the recall is open-ended (as someone stated in a previous post), they could conceivably be replacing
$463 million worth of cooling units @ $500/unit. Cooling units don't last forever.
I don't think this would be financially feasible, but who knows. All I can do is read what has been printed, and from what I've read, a specific failure is the reason for the recall. Nothing I've read in the recall notes addresses any other failures.
