What a horrible day.
I went in to have my Dometic cooling coil replaced. The repair shop called me 3 hours later and said they'd busted the fridge taking it out. Sure did, the rear wall around the cooling fins was torn on each side, below the fins.
They claim something about Dometic using a double-faced tape that they (repairmen) have no access to and sometimes this happens when they pull them out. Sounds like malarkey to me but what do I know?
Well, Dometic is willing to provide a brand-new fridge (good news). Bad news is it's at least a 10-day wait and I have to find another service center because I can't stand being in Yuma another day, and I sure don't want to deal with this place anymore. Rude bunch too. I'm in Quartzsite, hoping I can find someone here to do it.
