The repair unit does NOT include a replacement electrical element. It is only an enclosure to capture the ammonia material that will be released if the aluminum weld fails in your unit.
Dometic allows for 15 minutes to replace the parts. This is probably not sufficient time for the retrofit. Notice, I did not say repair since the unit is not really being repaired.
In some units it will be necessary to make changes to the wood frame around the refrigerator to allow for the repair kit to be installed.
Not a happy camper in Florida with Dometic.
