Dometic Refer Recall - Possible Fire Hazard -Update 2/13/07

From a purely electrical / mechanical standpoint, this isn't a bad idea. However, by altering Dometic's original design, you would most likely be assuming Dometic's liability in the event of a catastrophic failure. For that reason, it would not be advisable to make such a modification. In addition to this, if you are not familiar with electrical codes & inadvertently violate any, you may be putting yourself at more risk than what's there already. Tim
