We experienced a complete Dometic refrigerator failure and had to buy a new refrigerator in October 2006. The failure was just like I read about on the forum and in the recall. The new unit and installation ran over $1,400.00. Then we learned about Dometic's recall. Our failed unit matched the model and serial of the recalled units. So I got a form from the Dometic web site and submitted it with all my supporting documents on February 23, 2007. Yesterday I got a check from Dometic for the full amount of the unit and the installation.
Just thought I'd pass that along. Seems like a great company to buy from to me.
