I installed my RV Mobile heater yesterday and ran the refrigerator overnight using a GFI receptacle with no problems. The refrigerator cooled normally with the heater in the 12V slot. BTW it was difficult to insert the heater into either the 120V or 12V slot. The only way to do it was to keep rotating it back and forth and using downward pressure. Hope this keeps the refrigerator working longer. Heck, with Dometic footing the bill for a new one failure couldn't be that bad.
