Thanks for the additional info on the element! I would have thought that they would have replaced the thing that was causing the issue in the first place! Silly me!! ;)
At this point, I'm more inclined to just purchase a 325w element and replace, then have some 'tin' placed in there to redirect the leaking stuff when the higher watt element burns out the weld over time....
I just got my 'official' letter for the recall yesterday. Since I've heard about the recall here, I've only run LP on the fridge so I don't use that 'over watt' element anymore... Humm....
