Dometic also makes a high effiency Compressor unit (or did at one time)
They do. Former Tundra. Smaller units. Don't know about "high efficiency". All DC fridges, except for Engel, have Danfoss compressor. A box 6-9 cu.ft, fridge/freezer combo, draws 50-60W when running. Translates into 40-70 AH per 24 hours, this is a lot. Big solar or additional generator time is a must. Chest models, AND if it's smaller, AND if you don't open it often, AND if it's loaded with already cold items at home, AND if cabin temps are moderate (A/C running or just the weather not too hot) - then it draws several times less.
This new combo doesn't make much sense, and 65W (running?) is not awfully economic either.
