- HslagExplorerThere was a start capacitor and a not here one the bigger one looked like it had been leaking acid
The smaller starter capacitor had a burnt spot on the top I think I found the issue! Hslag wrote:

AS noted, your controls are 12 volt and that is the click you hear. The Fan and Compressor must have 120 volts. So, no 120 to the unit or AC and the AC will not run. Doug- Chris_BryantExplorer IIDid you check the circuit breaker?

- lj2654Explorershould have a round canister on roof unit....check to see if it is swelled up at wire end...if so replace...start capacitor
