Had that problem too.. Well, I have a 4 drawer stack.. So what I did was get a couple of lag-eye bolts (These are EYE bolts designed to go into wood) Drilled pilot holes and screwed them in between 1&2 and 3&4 Position the lags so the "EYE" is looking up/down and they are one above the other.. Then when on the road I simply drop a length of dowel road down through the eyes.

Other doors or drawers get either bunge cords (someimtes ancored with smaller eye bolts) or hasp locks or removable pin hinges with cotter pin pins.
Nothing comes open when you do that.
