I dragged the TT home this weekend to do some fix ups and mods.
First thing was to pull apart a drawer assembly to see what is in the design to hold them shut.
These full extension metal ball bearing glides have a narrowing in one part of the track at the back and the stationary piece has a steel tab bent at 90 degrees to the track.

On that tab is an oval shaped rubber piece that is forced into the narrow part of the track, the theory being to hold it shut.
On most of mine, the tabs are bent back a bit and the rubber piece is worn down to the point where it no longer holds in the track.
I'd like to buy new ones but have no idea where to get them. Good luck with that one....
So what I did was pull them off turn them around, and bend the tab in a bit before putting them back on. Bit of a bandaid fix but it seems to work for now.
I do like the hole and magnet idea presented here and if these things persist in coming open again I'll do that. Meanwhile, for an upcoming trip, this will do for now.
