Can't taste it either. In my early days in Mexico and yuck, I tried iodine tablets. One of the biggest leaps forward in Mexico are tens of thousands of water purification plants. For coffee water to avoid tainting the water too much we used to boil the water instead. That left only the mud mineral taste.
I wasn't joking about bacteria and virus on chicken.
All vegetables and get a half-hour soaking. Refrigerator interior washdowns with a bleach solution once per month. It's serious stuff down here.
Ozone saturated water is a superb surface water sterilizer and produce soaking sterilizer but the machine purchase price is a jaw-dropper (for me).
Only water plants with O3 sterilization offer a one year warranty on their bottled water when the 5-gallon jug remains sealed.
Many years ago I developed a drug-induced burn on my hands and legs. Aralen + the sun's UV. It became infected. The local O3 plant let me flood the skin with freshly ozonated water. It killed the infection within 24 hours. I'd love to build a water tank with Ozonator! No more bleach.
