drilling into frame
I was thinking of drilling some holes in the frame of my tt and mounting a length of pvc pipe for my sewer hose I know I could not do this on my semi truck but what about on a travel trailer:@

Mounting a hitch and a sewer holders are two different task.
Yes they both attach to the frame but the forces and weights involved are totally different.
For the record I have 2-6" PVC tubes mounted to the frame with self tapping screws.
But I would be reluctant to attach a hitch to the rear of my 5'er simply because my trailer frame is not strong enough.
However I had a 200 pound custom platform welded to the rear frame of my old TT. The old TT had a much stronger frame and could support the weight without issue.
Hitches and sewer hose carriers are 2 entirely different scenarios.
