In many cases RVs with residential refrigerators will have larger battery banks and inverters.
Ours came with a 3000 watt inverter, a 520 amp hour battery bank and an AGS (auto generator start).
We added 645 watts of solar and can boondock most of the time without the need for the genny.
Residential refrigerators are much better insulated and on some the compressor runs on 24 volt DC, not 110 volt, having an internal rectifier.
If you are avid boonkockers, like us, it is well worth the investment.
