Exactly! Cold temps reduce your amp hour of battery bank, and go with often reduced solar input as in winter.
More elevation reduces the VA the generator can handle, which reduces the Amps of charger you can run, which increases the time to recharge, perhaps beyond the allowed gen times of the campground.
