That is good to know, but how do you do it with no issues, so we can see what that takes?
Edit, I see in the previous post what the set-up is, but the question then is where and when do you get enough solar to have no issues?
Won't work here in winter in off- grid provincial parks in the tall trees so no solar, with limited gen times allowed.
What it takes is no parks, and a willingness to invest in the equipment to do so.
We were on a bear and caribou hunt on the Nazko in BC for the months of November and December. Our solar worked just fine.
We don't do parks, so no restrictions on the genny, if and when we need it. The AGS takes care of the batteries. Most of the solar gain is from 10 AM till 2 PM so we find an opening.
I meant no problems with the refrigerator.
