This whole residential refrigerator thing is so sad.
If Norcold hadn't cheaped out and created a fire hazard and the RV manufactures had installed absorption refrigerators correctly, we wouldn't be having residential ver absorption conversations.
My old 2807 Dometic was installed correctly. I can keep the freezer below zero and the refrigerator between 35 & 40 degrees, summer and winter.
So now RVers demand residential refrigerators and have to pay the additional expense for solar, extra batteries and dedicated inverters. And then spend additional time monitoring batteries.
