If these required no upkeep like AGMs, it definitely would be worth the cost of admission. Mainly because my battery capacity will double, since I wouldn't have to worry about going below 50% SOC and the damage that ensues.
I wonder how they react to temperature change. If a flooded bank is under 50 degrees, it produces a fraction of the power it would come summer. If they have fewer issues with cold temperatures, that would definitely be a plus.
I just wish for more energy density. You get energy density in an order of magnitude of gasoline, and our way of life will fundamentally change.
