Short RANT ! Honda has been the KING OF THE HILL of small portable for many years now, and deservedly so ! Proven reliability and durability !!
But now, there are many contenders is that same class. Some are approximately the same size and weight, some are larger. Many are still in their "proving themselves" period (although I think Champion has graduated from that class).
So Honda comes out with the new EU2200i. Only 10% more power ??? COME ON NOW !! What people WANT is 120V@20A continuous, so probably rated at 2800W. There is still a "hole" in the market !
