Duo-Therm air-conditioner Model 57915541

Howdy all!
I'm trying to find out why my AC fan quits. The compressor keeps running but the blower motor stops after about 10-15 mins. The motor is almost to hot to touch at that point. When running it runs good, strong and vibration free. Capacitors look good.
Any thoughts?

    Well it was the fan motor. Tried replacing the capacitor first, but it kept shutting down.
    New motor and all is well!

    Thanks guys, I'm going to try the capacitor first (it will be a few days before I can get one). But I'll re-post with the results!

    Yes, but it is classic bad fan capacitor. When the motor gets that hot that quick. Cheap way to find out and having a new capacitor if it is the fan motor is good also. Doug

    Thermal overload on motor is shutting it down........motor shaft 'bushings' are probably worn out or motor is going bad
