E15 gasoline incoming...

Irrefutable multiple fixed-course comparisons between Alcohol laced USA gasoline and USA refined alcohol free gasoline from Mexico.

Same route, no wind, same load station to station fillups

USA gasoline 21.3 mpg

Alcohol free gasoline 23.6 mpg.

Also checked via 100% same fuel round-trips.

Multiple means 17 trips

If gasoline costs $3.50 gallon then Archer Daniels Midland gasoline costs $4.20 gallon despite same price at pump.

And government is ramrodding the same nonsense because they skew the analysis by insisting x ppm contamination via gallonage quantity of fuel consumed.

My car type was rated in Brasil as offering 16.4 miles per gallon on 100% ethanol.

Ask the government WHERE all of our fracked light distillates are going? To the commercial crude market and then to China (and Mexico for a 2 to one swap)





Sell light ends for $75.00 for 42 gallons, buy heavy sour crude for $44.00 barrel, claim our crude is mideast origin with it's market volatility.

Like the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia quipped decades ago "Now do you really think we get paid market price for our crude?")

If your state collects tax per gallon (like the feds) it's a whole different ball game than compound taxing upon pump price.

Follow the stench -- where is our fracked crude going? Follow the pipelines. They go to ports to sail away into the sunset and not to refineries.

1. Will it be in premium gas and if so, will it bother/harm our 2002 daily driver sedan which takes premium?

2. Will it bother/harm my 1995 GMC 4X4's V8?

3. Will it bother/harm our 2005 Ford V10 motorhome?

4. Will it bother/harm the built-in Onan generator in our motorhome?

5. Will it bother/harm the 1980's portable Honda four-cycle generator we carry along in our motorhome?

I know it won't bother our gas powered chain saws and trimmer because I use $20+/gallon "real gas" in them!

While Texas oil wells are flaring off excess NG at a record rate. We bring up more NG than we have places to store or use it yet we would rather burn it off and create more ethanol?

Only because it’s cheaper, politically and economically, n the US to flare it than it is to compress it and reinject it to maintain reservoir pressure and therefore flow rates.

But then again, corn squeezin’s is the same deal, it doesn’t have to make sense, as long as the Spin Doctors can make it LOOK like a smart choice........

Did ruin a bunch of engines though. Many had to buy additives to add to the gas just to keep their engines from failing.

I only used it to compare mileage. And it sucks up all the water in the fuel system.

There is a "Famous" test done by Mercury Motors (Outboard motors) where they ran some of their product for as I recall 300 hours on either Pure Gasoline or E-15.

OF the test engines all but one completed the 300 Hr Run
The Pure Gasolines showed what they expected for 300 hours
The E-15's were seriously damaged way beyond the Pure Product and the one that did not make it... E-15.. THis stuff scares me

You really don't want "extremely" high percentage ethanol. Even if the engines and fuel systems are designed for it, there are serious staring problems when the temps get below about 50F !
