Electric awning - Don't like the durned thing! Rant!

Got an electric awning, thought this was a nice thing....... Used it a couple times and very quickly realized what a total pain in the backside it is. It has 2 positions - in, or out. Period. ...

My awning is a Dometic 9100 - came with my TT.

It extends/retracts to any degree required, and has the "auto-dump" crylinder that lowers the awning towards the front of the trailer and dumps. It also has locking nuts to keep either side lowered.

Instead of a manual awning, maybe the OP needs an upgrade?
