We have one of the early models that is not adjustable. After much research and measuring several adjustable models I settled on 24" between the lower rivets. you have to drill out the bottom rivets and replace with 1/4 20 bolts.

Thanks for the description. your pics look good. Awning looks better like that.
I walked by another unit in the CG I'm in right now and saw another unit with what appears to be the identical awning. Theirs has about a 20 degree pitch to it. Looks a lot better. Mine is nearly straight out.
