So I was looking at my configuration and based on the above posts, I can probably put the box in another location which would make the run about 85 feet and that would probably help make the 8/3 work for me along with the box from home depot that has the 30 amp rv plug and the 20 amp accessory receptacle.
When I install the double pole breaker in the box at my house, would I install a 40 amp breaker because the wire gauge is 8 or do I just put a 30 amp breaker there. I'm only wondering because the home depot box will limit the rv plug to 30 amps and the accessory plug to 20 amps but each 8 gauge supply wire is capable of 40 amps or does it not matter because I will only draw up to 30 amps on 1 wire and 20 amps on the other because of the home depot box.
