Considering the circumstances I would have a new 50 amp supply pulled to the RV. 50 amp is 4 wire #6 and a double 50a breaker. The outlet is a very common NEMA 14-50. Even 30 amp power could need power management that Mom probably should not have to worry about. How would you know if the breaker trips?
Remember, not only is the supply wire not large enough, but the House receptacle is also only rated for 15 amp service. Also, that outside receptacle may NOT be the only plug in your house that is supplied by your Main breaker panel 15 amp breaker. There may be 2 or more receptacles run by that 15 amp breaker. ANY 120 appliance plugged into the other receptacles will lower how many items you can run. IF it was my elderly mother, I would have a dedicated 30 amp service run to the trailer. Doug
