My 95 year old dad lived with us after he was diagnosed with dementia at 85.
He often needed help with daily routine not because of the dementia but because he became frail. Falls were always a concern.
RVs can be tough to get in and out of, plus the toilet and shower can be difficult for older folks to manage.
With your 97 year old mom I would consider making changes in the house. Ramps to get inside and use a potty chair for her. There are portable tubs and showers available at most health care supply houses. With her in the house you will be able to assist her as needed.
