Electric Fuel Pump

I want to use an electric fuel pump to supply gasoline to a Honda EU3000i generator that was previously supplied by a tank mounted on top.
I am installing this generator in a small motorhome and want to use gasoline from the motorhome`s tank.
Can I use one of the universal electric gas pumps that have low psi rates? Can the generator operate with the low psi from the electric fuel pump where before it was gravity fed? I have removed the generator`s fuel tank.
