Which makes of pickup trucks use 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions?
Quicksilver has a 10/5/13 and splits about 200 RPM
The engine, of course, is an NT PT 400 horsepower at 2150 RPM and 1300 pounds-feet of torque at 1390 RPM.
The reason I ask is that for an average weight of 11 - 13 tons on level ground towing a 4-ton flatbed I get 16-18 mpg.
And a regular high powered diesel pickup cannot touch it for power or for economy.
The 2-4-6 Jake brake will drastically reduce speed even on a 12 percent downgrade.
It isn't all gravy. The thing consumes 44 quarts of oil per change and simple stuff like adjusting the clutch brake or adjusting the s-cam brakes is beyond my ability.
