Every town with a comma in the population count should have a welding supply, the bigger the number left of the comma the greater the odds.. Now a truly small town.. May even have a welding shop that can do it for you.
When I needed a custom cable I had the wire on hand, I cut it to length, and visited a "Welding Supply" a few minutes and some dead presidents later I had my custom made battery cable ready to bolt in... I'm using it now.
