Your 120 volt ac to 12 volt dc converter is not working- all of those things work off 12 volt dc power. If the converter is bad, a battery charger will get you through for a bit.

Like Chris stated..converter issue......loss of 12V DC power
Converter supplies DC when AC power is available and maintains battery.
If converter is NOT working then battery supplies all of the DC until battery goes dead.

Could be converter has failed.
Could be AC to converter has been tripped.....either a AC circuit breaker for converter has tripped OR if converter plugs into an outlet that outlet may be feed from a GFCI Outlet (Kitchen/bathroom) that has tripped

As suggested......get a battery charger and hook it up to your TT battery to recharge it

Any chance that was a 240 volt outlet such as very common NEMA 10-30R?

OP stated My grandson hooked my tt to his shop via power cord. tt is 30 amp. Everything worked ok for a couple of days,,,,,,,Microwave, area heater and table lamps do work

The magic smoke would have escaped almost immediately

Check the converter output first, right on the output terminals. Either you have it there, or you don't. If you do, then you have to find the loose wire going to the battery. Could be the positive at either end, or the negative, or any connection, breaker, or switch in between.

It's really very easy to troubleshoot, takes only a few minutes with a meter, so come back to this forum and tell us what your meter says.

Check the units breakers first, do not forget the ones from the house too that could be the problem and is an easy fix
(just re-set)

I know I'm a dunce when it comes to electrical issues. My grandson did mention hooking up my TT to 240 volt. Wasn't sure what he was talking about. He removed 30 amp to 15 amp adapter. If indeed the TT is hooked up to 240 V do I need a converter. Dont understand why my Micro, table lamps and computer charger work but nothing else. He's not around and I cant get in to his shop.

That 30 amp outlet in the shop is almost certainty 240 volts.. Damage may be major.

Yeah, like it would work for 2 days w/o smoke !!!!!!!!!
