Most Google searches will bring up WRONG 7 way trailer wiring and colors. This is the correct code. Doug
Left Turn is RED
Right Turn is BROWN
Running is GREEN
Ground is WHITE
Brakes are BLUE
12 volt HOT is BLACK
YELLOW goes to the center pin and can be whatever you want it to be(reverse/brake buddy/anything) The Yellow is DEAD on RV's and Trucks from the Factory. It has been years since I have found a Yellow connected to the Reverse lights on a OEM vehicle.

A few years ago (OK, 5-8 yrs?), the industry changed the 7-pin RV plugs to what you've listed; not sure why they decided to "fix" something that wasn't broken, particularly since now those colors don't match any other type of trailer out there. Here's a good link that shows the traditional color codes, as well as the RV ones: Trailer Wiring You'll notice that every single plug has matching color codes for RT, LT, and Running lights except the RV 7-wy plug. Scrolling to the bottom will also show a chart listing some of the differences in OEM manufacturers, as well.
