Electrical upgrades

Well the coffee maker, griddle, and toaster keeps tripping breaker. Completely understandable right? I see some upgrades in the future. Either moving a circuit to its own breaker or breakers. I see a spot to add one. Has anyone done this or even switch everything to 50amp 220? Had better luck with low amp draw appliances?

    Sorry but that is incorrect.
50A is the same plug used for a residential range; 50A 220v which is has two legs of 120 @50A. Both sides are 120V to the same ground and Neutral.
However, they are not on different phases, they are on the same phase and referred to as "Split Phase". Basically, one side is a continuation of the other.

So with 50A you actually get 100A.
  • A properly wired RV 50 amp supply is 120/240 four wire.
2 legs of 120 on different electrical phases, one neutral and one ground.
It is not worth the many dollars to change to a fifty amp panel in RV. Switching to a separate breaker could cause the main breaker if equipped or the pedestal to trip.
Best idea is to reduce your draw! Make coffee and store in stainless carafe. Use toaster after shutting down grill. Use your propane stove.
