  • You can certainly plug in at home with the right adapters. If you have a 50 amp plug (4 pins) you'll need a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter and then a 30 amp to 15 amp adapter to fit your home's outlet. If you have a 30 amp plug (3 pins) then you'll only need the second adapter to get to 15 amp.
You will only be able to pull 15 amps from most house circuits but many homes have the outside and garage outlets on a 20 amp circuit. Either is plenty of power to keep the batteries charged, keep the ref. cold, and run a few lights, etc.
You may be able to run your AC unit depending on how large it is, what circuit you're plugged into, and what else is on at the time. If you try to run the AC don't use a long extension cord. That will cause problems with voltage drop. Plugging the RV directly into the outlet is preferable.
