Simple answer. You absolutely do not need, or want, 220 vac for your 30 amp MH.
Your neighbor on the other hand MAY want a 220 vac 50 amp outlet if he has a 50 amp MH. A 50 amp service for a MH is just like your house. It has two 120 vac hot legs with 220 vac measured between the two hot legs. But a typical RV only uses the 120 vac power from that outlet. Some high end MHs do have some appliances that use the 220 vac.
However, using a 30 to 50 amp adapter you can plug your 30 amp MH into a 50 amp outlet. The adapter will only use one of the 120 vac hot legs.
