Electronic Climate Control by intellitec

2006 Fleetwood Flair

Thermostat has worked great for roughly 4 years straight, part timer, this morning making coffee at galley felt hot air forced w heater system while AC was also pumping cold air?????? Had both ac units going since its hot outside and heater kicked in while thermostat is on auto cool setting. Totally cornfused!!!!!! so I turned gas off outside, and heater stopped but is still trying to crank up I hear the fan motors in the two heaters trying to lightup and run at the same time the ac is?
wondering if erratic current is responsible for the malfunction.
Need any sound advice from anyone that is familiar with the load sharing charastics..thank you in advance. Tom
  • Sorry wish I could help

But I would go pull the 12volt fuse for the heater
From the power center , instead of letting it dry cycle
  • Side note, I very recently
    Took mine all apart
Cleaned and used Deoxit on all the wiring connectors and pins
Took the wall control thermostat box out
Open it, and cleaned the board connector
Removed the sensors from the walls and cleaned inside with plastic safe electronics cleaner
To remove dust , cooking residue etc.. From the tiny thermo resistor inside, ( tiny little blue thing )(thermistor)
This is a 97 Fleetwood Bounder
And the Intellitec control is working better now, than it has in the past 3 years
This thing is old tech by today's standards, probably designed in the late 80's
I learned quite a bit from that video I posted a link too, glad I remembered it
    Hope this helps you
