An RV'er can't ever get enough comfort from putting heat where it needs to be. Stay warm!

Are you heating metal enclosures with those bolt on units?

Pads work well on plastic because plastic is a very poor conductor. The warmth of the pad is spread out over a larger surface area to better couple heat into the contents.

Of course if you want a little heat on your metal hot water tank, or oil pan or trans pan, those might work?
