- Sunnyjim245ExplorerTo close this thread, I found an unmarked switch on the dash that turns the lights on and the utility light as well. Thanks for all your help!
- wa8yxmExplorer IIII will say again. Check the switches on the dash for one marked "Service light" or "Servie lights" mine are controlled that switch. Workhorse chassis, include that in your post as well. (Or whatever chassis it is bu9ilt
- BobboExplorer IIIf you want that appended to your messages, you also have to put it in your "signature."
- Sunnyjim245ExplorerSorry, I thought my vehicle info would be added to my note automatically. It is a 2005 bounder 35E and i am the second owner. I can find no switch, magnets, etc near or on the hood to turn the lights on. thanks for your help!
- westendExplorerTypically controlled by a hood switch. Post make/year/model of RV for more focused advice.
- KD4UPLExplorerWhat vehicle are we talking about?
Have you checked the bulbs?
Most under hood lights I've ever seen came on automatically when you opened the hood. - wa8yxmExplorer IIIOn my ride there is a dash switch "Service lights" ON some rides a switch on the "Hook" (Engine access panel) does the trick.
- BB_TXNomadEvery vehicle I have ever owned that had under hood lights, those lights came on automatically when I opened the hood. Trace the wiring to see if it goes to a switch.
- 2oldmanExplorer IISay nice things to them. Check the bulbs.
- TakingThe5thExplorerMany times those lights have a motion switch to turn them on automatically when the hood is opened. I'm not familiar with your rig tho so I'm not speaking with absolute authority on this.
