Where I came from, a "spun bearing" means a main, and not repairable.
And if they are repairable nowdays, I wouldn't want any part of it at any price.
My luck with mechanics these days, even though one might be able to rebuild the engine for less, I don't know if I would trust it as much as a reman engine. I don't care to go through an engine swap again. We was suppose to be deep into Florida by now. Instead, here we sit with grease up to our elbows.
